The Weber-Lutgen gallery opened its doors in June 2007, in the street Fray Diego de Cádiz nº 9. A space inserted in the historic center of the city
The zone of the town, where the gallery is situated, is traditionally the origin of the most interesting phenomena of the emerging arts. The very place where the city is regenerating, a hot spot of culture where new independent spaces breed the up-to-the-minute tendencies in multiple areas. Due to the international vocation of the Gallery all prices are without national value added tax. We ship on request with prior quotation without the receivers border taxes.
This Sevillian gallery is directed by Ed. M.A. Weber, a Luxembourger who decided to settle permanently in the city of Seville and start a bet of plastic renovation with his particular vision and dedicated to show the vanguard in the south of Spain. The gallery presents the artists of the gallery in its space: a group of creators with a majority presence in Andalusia, among whom we can find international trajectories and new emerging values, forming a body with a solid appearance and representative of the line started in the year 2007. With contributions from different independent curators, it is undoubtedly one of the biggest risk bets in the recent panorama in the Andalusian gallery space. Specialized in non-traditional formats such as installation, video or action art, or conceptually unconventional and at the limit of experimentation.
